So I meant to write about my time here in Buenos Aires, but Iapos;ve been so busy living that finding the time to write has proven difficult. I donapos;t even know where to begin.
First off the spanish here is weeird and it took me about a week and a half to understand everyone. Now, I probably sound just as strange as much as I try to avoid speaking with the argentine accent I find myself saying some pretty silly things.
The people are beautiful and really friendly and the jewish community has made me feel at home. I have joined hillel here and go once a week.
Lately Iapos;ve been trying to travel so Iapos;m going out of the city everyweekend. Last weekend I went to Rosario (where che guevara was born) the weekend before I went to La Plata (pretty much a suburb) and this weekend Iapos;m going to Iguazu Falls which is bigger and better than Niagra. I need to leave the country once so thereapos;s a trip to Uruguay. So in summary I love Argentina.
As much as I love it I am anxious to get back to the states and make a life for myself in Austin. I think I may have gotten in to UT because I recieved some fin aid stuff in my email, but I wonapos;t know for sure until november.
